One Big Beautiful Bill Act (2025)

Description 

The One Big Beautiful Bill (OB3) Act is a broad federal appropriations measure that addresses a wide range of national priorities, with education as one key component. Title VIII, overseen by the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, includes significant higher education policy changes, such as federal loan adjustments, a new definition of a professional student, the creation of Workforce Pell, updates to accreditation and program eligibility requirements, and new accountability and reporting expectations for institutions.
